Vintage Matteo Grassi 'Coral' Dining Chair Set - 8
Italian manufacturer Matteo Grassi is well known for leather work. The family business began in 1880 honing leather goods for the agricultural field in the small town of Brianza, located in northern Italy. These skills adapted after WW2 as the region transformed into one of the biggest furniture manufacturing areas in Italy.
Made from saddle leather and steel, this vintage design from the 1980s is a great example of the skill and design expertise of the company. The chair has gorgeous structural appeal with a lithe silhouette that features a curved handle on the back. This set maintains its integrity and beauty with the patina of a well loved set that has seen many a dinner party!
