The Bradbury Building
The Bradbury Building is the oldest commercial building in central Los Angeles, opening in 1893. This historic structure was designed by architect George Wyman, who was commissioned to design the building after communicating with his dead brother. The building's ornate interior features ironwork, marble stairs, and a glass skylight. In addition, the building's elevators are ornate, too, with ornate iron railings and a caged opening. Tourists can tour the building's lobby and explore the landing area.

Filmmakers have used the building as a setting for a century. From 1940s noirs to dystopian science fiction, Bradbury's vision has been the subject of several works. The Stahl House
If you're a fan of mid-century modern architecture, you've probably heard of the Stahl House in West Hollywood. Designed by architect Pierre Koenig in 1959, the building is a landmark in Los Angeles. A black-and-white photograph of a woman in a corner of the house and a panoramic view through its glass walls is a signature image of the Stahl House. The photograph is so iconic, TIME named it one of the 100 most influential images of all time.
This iconic home has featured in numerous movies and advertisements. The Stahl family's modernist house has been featured in Smog (1962), Devil's Night (1990), Playing by Heart (1998, 1999), Galaxy Quest (2001), Nurse Betty (2002), and other films. The Stahl House was also featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. There are tours available throughout the day, but you should be sure to book ahead.
The Forecourt of the Stars
There is nothing quite like seeing your favorite stars in person. The Forecourt of the Stars in Los Angeles is a great place to get that autographed piece of art. Its nearly 200 celebrity prints are a sight to behold. You can find prints of Betty Grable's legs, Jimmy Durante's nose, and even Harry Potter's magic wand. The idea behind the Forecourt of the Stars came from actress Norma Talmadge, who inspired the project. The original forecourt of the stars was reportedly claimed by Sid Grauman, who even left an autograph on the wall.
