Founder Piero Ambrogio Busnelli had a keen eye for design and during its early years B&B's factory building was designed by two rising talents Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers who would later become world-famous Pritzker-winning architects. The factory building spoke to Busnelli’s goals of taking Italy’s tradition of quality design in a modern, industrial direction. B&B Italia has worked with some of the finest and most-recognized designers in the design and architecture industries including Zaha Hadid, Jeffrey Bernett, Marcel Wanders, Naoto Fukasawa, Mario Bellini, Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, Studio Kairos, Patricia Urquiola, Jean-Marie Massaud, Gaetano Pesce, and Antonio Citterio.
